Position: Flash Developer 

Job Type: Flexible Contract (or as we like to call it a serial monogamous contract)

Location: Home Office using collaboration tools

Job Description

We are looking for a Flash developer who has a good enough knowledge of Action Script programming to work with an SDK in Flash. Ideally, we would like someone who has user interface experience and has some artistic sensibilities as well, but mostly we are looking for the programming savvy. If you can do some kick-butt animation that would be icing on the cinnamon bun (we like them better than cake).

We are a growing elearning company located in the Greater Toronto Area (for those of you who don’t know that’s in Canada). We create custom online learning for corporate clients. We have worked with organizations from Hospitals to Telecommunications companies and pride ourselves on really getting to know our client’s content and making sure their learners understand it too.

Requirements

• Ability to use both sides of your brain (not necessarily at the same time)
• Knowledge of Action Script or proven aptitude to learn (i.e., experience with other programming languages) 
• Ability to use Photoshop, Fireworks, or other graphic packages
• It might be nice if you are familiar with tools such as Lectora, Articulate Engage, Power Point, Adobe Products, Camtasia or other tools used for elearning
• Demonstrated ability to visualize concepts graphically
• We really like people who are organized
