Design/Build eLearning Developer

Position:  Design/Build eLearning Developer

Job Type:  Flexible Contract (or as we like to call it a serial monogamous contract)

Location:  Home Office using collaboration tools

Job Description

We are looking for someone who can use industry standard tools like Lectora, Articulate, Captivate and others to create effective elearning courses for our corporate clients. You should be familiar with Instructional Design principles (although if you use the term SME or ID more than once during the interview you won’t be getting the job), be able to visualize concepts graphically, and write clearly. You need a good technical aptitude and the ability to pick up quickly on how different software and systems work. In other words, don’t apply unless you know how to zip a file or send an email attachment.  It would be good if you had some sense of what is going on in the world outside of the elearning community since we have clients in a number of different fields. You will definitely need the ability to take complex concepts and present them in an interesting and engaging fashion. We’re not looking for Superman or Superwoman but for someone who is flexible, open to new ideas and willing to learn new tools.

Us

We are a growing elearning company located in the Greater Toronto Area (for those of you who don’t know that’s in Canada). We create custom online learning for corporate clients. We have worked with organizations from Hospitals to Telecommunications companies and pride ourselves on really getting to know our client’s content and making sure their learners understand it too.
